How A Reverse Osmosis System Works
The treatment of water by reverse osmosis characterizes a modern-day breakthrough in water filters as water is processed at the molecular level. This water purification process is used by major bottled water companies to filter water prior to bottling. WaterSoft® has combined this terrific reverse osmosis process with quality components to create a compact drinking water appliance for your home or business.
The Reverse Osmosis System by WaterSoft® uses pressure to force water through the filters of the system into a storage tank. This process takes approximately 24 hours to produce 2.5 gallons of drinkable water, comparable to the bottled water you would purchase at the store, only now you would have it on tap at your home. This is because the filtered water from the storage tank is accessed on demand by a faucet that is installed above it on the sink next to your sink’s primary faucet. If you should require more than 2.5 gallons of drinkable water to be produced within a 24 hour period, we can size you up with a larger RO System that can produce 5 gallons of drinkable water within a 24 hour period. If you own a business a larger RO System may be a better solution for you.
